To connect a proxy server on an Android device, follow these simple steps:
- Launch Telegram.

It is not possible to connect a proxy server to the web version of Telegram, but you can configure it in your browser. Here's how to do it in Google Chrome:

- Press "Alt + F" to access the “Settings” menu.
- Enter "Proxy" in the "Search settings" field.
- Click "Open your computer's proxy settings".
- The browser will automatically redirect you to the system settings window. Click in the "Manual proxy settings" section on the "Use a proxy server" option.
- Enter the proxy server details and click "Save".
How to disable proxy in Telegram
When you no longer need to use a proxy server in Telegram, you can turn it off. To do this, go to "Proxy settings" on your device and select "Disable proxy".
This applies to all devices and versions of Telegram, except for the web version, which does not allow the use of an intermediary server.
